Will your application or platform still perform well at peakloads?

For critical applications and websites it's often advisable to know the behaviour at high or even normal loads. Often simple calculations are used to size a server platform to the expected loads of the application. Stone offers solutions to test how your site, serverplatform or application will react to a certain expected load. The feedback and results of this process will help you expose the weak spots of your application or platform. The testplatform can be used to test servers and applicationplatforms that are hosted by us or hosted and managed by a third party.

Design of a load test.

Together with the customer we explore what the expected loads are and which parameters will be used to execute a realistical simulation. We ascertain what the vital parameters are that have to be measured during the test. After an agreement about the basic premisses of the test, it is designed and planned.

To measure is to know.

During the test worden vital system sources are monitored and plotted. Responsetimes are also measured. This enables us to show accurately where the bottleneck is located and hereby we can determine the maximal capacity of a server or serverplatform.

Executing a loadtest.

Our testplatform can generate multiple simultaneous users (up to 10.000) on the application. Together with the customer the number of iterations and the depth of the test are agreed upon. Our software offers the possibility to run through complete webapplications.

Rapportage and feedback.

After performing the tests the results are reported together with suggestions for the enhancement of the platform or application. The results can also show if the application or platform is up to the required performance needs.
